Shaun O’Neale, the illustrious season 7 MasterChef US champion, is returning to Dubai for a five-day residency at MasterChef, the TV Experience restaurant, the world-first, screen-to-plate restaurant concept at Millennium Place Marina.
Exclusively available from November 28 until December 2 during dinner service, the 5-course tasting menu features a wide range of signature dishes from the former DJ, with all options offering an upscale, modern American style of cooking, priced at just 240 AED for the 5-course tasting menu or 420 AED with expert drink pairing.
The menu kicks off with the Kombu Cured Scallop amuse-bouche – hand-dived scallops, lemon champagne sabayon foam, caviar, chives and basil flowers, followed by the Oxtail Tortellini starter – braised oxtail and mascarpone filling with sweet pea, fennel, beef consommé, and aged goat cheese.
The two main course options are Herb Crusted Loin of Lamb – lamb loin, fresh herbs, smoked aubergine puree, fava beans, morels and Madeira sauce or Truffle, Mushroom and White Asparagus Risotto, one of Shaun’s winning MasterChef dishes which features truffle, chanterelles, cremini, shiitake and white asparagus.
Next up, the Tomato Tartare – heirloom tomato, tomato sorbet, balsamic reduction and basil – offers Dubai residents a savoury amuse-gueule before the indulgent dessert of Lemon Meringue Redux – Pavlova, passionfruit curd, diplomat creme, blueberry compote and macadamia cookie.
Shaun O’Neale has enjoyed major success since winning the show – becoming the only winner to feature in two further seasons, and hosting MasterChef Celebrity Showdown in 2017. Heading to Dubai for the second time, Shaun joined previous MasterChef champions Simon Wood and Nikita Gandhi for the MasterChef, the TV Experience opening party in April.

MasterChef, the TV Experience, is open daily for lunch between 12pm-3pm, with daily dinner seatings available between 7pm-11pm. Normal lunch service transforms into an exclusive brunch on Fridays from 12.30pm-4.30pm.
