MasterChef, the TV Experience, has been pulling in loyal patrons since it first opened its doors in April, but a brand-new ‘Showtime! Brunch’ concept is another good reason to visit the world-first, screen-to-plate restaurant concept at Millennium Place Marina from 6 September.
Showtime! Brunch will run from 12.30pm – 4.30pm every Friday, bringing together a number of the restaurant’s hero dishes and a line-up of all-new specials created by champions and finalists from the global hit TV series. The ‘Showtime! Brunch’ is priced at AED299 for the non-alcoholic package, AED429 for house beverages and AED489 for a fizz package. Unlike a traditional Dubai buffet-brunch concept, guests will be able to enjoy unlimited sharing-style starters, alongside their choice of main course and unlimited desserts, all served to the table.
Starters include Baked Brie with Bourbon, Pecan and Maple drizzle by MasterChef US 2016 champion Shaun O’Neale, Prawn Bhaajis with Avocado by MasterChef UK 2016 champion Jane Devonshire, One Pan Chilaquiles made from corn tortilla, eggs sunny side up, pulled beef, queso fresco, black beans and salsa by MasterChef Australia 2016 champion Elena Duggan and Asparagus and Gochujang Pancakes from MasterChef Australia 2017 finalist Tamara Graffen.
Diners have a choice of seven different options when it comes to main course, including Steak and Eggs (Hangar steak, eggs, smoked paprika hash browns and chimichurri), the Extraordinary Burger (Wagyu beef patty, potato bun, white cheddar, chef’s BBQ sauce, sriracha and wasabi mayo, lettuce, tomato and crispy shallots) and Fried Chicken Eggs Benedict (fried buttermilk chicken, poached eggs, hollandaise sauce and coriander and tomato dressing).
Options from the sea include Sea Bream Pakoras (fried sea bream, bran flour batter, spicy tamarind and date sauce) and Seared Yellowfin Tuna with Chestnuts and Salsa Verde (seared yellowfin tuna loin, roasted chestnuts, mixed salad and salsa verde), while Charred Romaine Salad (romaine lettuce, pickled watermelon and blue cheese) will suit vegetarian brunchgoers.
No brunch would be complete without an indulgent dessert menu, and the Showtime! Brunch offering is as tempting as they come. From Mojito Meringues and Ginger Key Lime Pie to Salted Chocolate Tart with Beetroot Sorbet, guests will be spoilt for choice. Lucky then that desserts come as a sharing selection, giving diners the chance to try them all.
For those looking to make a night of it, the Millennium Place Marina is offering an exclusive package that includes a one-night stay with the sparkling brunch package for two, at just AED799 per person including breakfast.
